Too Edgy, Too Out There? You Judge.

What are you doing this hump day?  Out Professionals is hosting a benefit screening of Half-Share at The GLBT Center in New York.  Afterward, a panel of media pros will discuss the state of television and the difficulties of selling an original scripted series like ours in 2011.

Come drink, network and laugh your ass off at Half-Share!

Moderated by fabulous Editor-in-Chief of Edge Media, Steve Weinstein - the panel will be graced by my co-creator Sean Hanley as well as US Weekly Senior Editor Bradley Jacobs and pals Josh Rosenzweig - host of "Just Josh" and SVP of Programming and Development at Here Media; and Chris Willey, Logo TV's head of East Coast Development and Production, now overseeing the A-List series and Be Good, Johnny Weir.

This incredible line-up of insiders will discuss a range of topics and answer questions on the state (and economics) of TV today, the reality phenomenon, and how the industry is managing with the growth of other viewing platforms siphoning audience.

Admission is $15 ($10 for OP members). Also along for the screening ride are cast members Kyle Spide, Kevyn Morrow, and the scene-stealing drag queen Anita Spinoff!  And did I mention there's Bulldog Gin?! The cocktail is ALWAYS half-full! Drinks kick off at 6pm Wednesday at The Center.
