Truth in Advertising

Looks like American car companies won't be forced to adapt or die. Seems the only thing left in Washington are the lobbyists!

Hey Jesse -

That ad was right on. But even if the current administration gives the auto companies the $14 billion (all they have left in the first half of the bailout fund), it won't last past early '09. Which means they'll be dependent on the new administration for further aid. I'm hopeful that the Obama team will hold the auto companies' feet to the fire. Most likely to disappear: Chrysler. And I bought a (4 cylinder) Jeep Patriot this spring. So don't pay any attention to me.
