Sexism?

Turns out I did see Tina Fey today. Watch her take on Hillary in a pitch perfect Sarah Palin.

In America right now, satire is the news and the news is entertainment. That is scary.

This is wonderful:

It was truly Fab.

"I can see Russia from my house."

Well I can see the Russian influence has rubbed off on Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter, Knickers Onanoff.

Exactly, Edina, but remember her family is off limits!

Unless it's her retarded baby, which she'll toss into the media spotlight with glee.

With our pathetic Pussy Press, we have to rely on the National Enquirer for our Political Discourse:

Bristol and Track have already accumulated quite a bit of mileage.

Hey Jesse:

[Sorry for the length of the following rant.]

Even the moderately conservative NYT columnist David Brooks says that he and heavyweight conservative commentators like George Will, Charles Krauthammer and others are "suggesting in different ways that she [Sarah Palin] is unready."
Despite this, McCain's poll numbers are up becuase of Palin's presence on the ticket. It's truly disheartening.
As a letter-writer in the Times today says:
"For the last three and a half years I have repeatedly tried to understand how this country, with so many great strengths could re-elect a president whose policies were based on distortions, ignorance or false beliefs. Despairingly I have concluded that ... too many citizens don't want thoughtful analysis. Instead they want simple solutions and instant emotional gratification. This is what the McCain-Palin ticket now offers."

Boys and girls, do we have ever a problem. It's almost enough to turn me to prayer.

My son (yes, I spent a period of my life in the "underworld") is amazed how Republicans want businessmen left without government intervention, but then want to get involved in our personal lives -- some wont even leave us alone in public restrooms! Now, with The Mule and Sister Sara(h), Republicans have grown tolerant AND have decided that their rich buddies might need a little help from all the poor people without tax loopholes. It's absolutely sickening.
